PPG guy: can we call you that?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

I am told by a local glass shop that PPG and other OEM suppliers don't always make all of their own glass, but will essentially buy glass from other sources and have their "stamp" on it when demand is too much. They are implying that just because it say XXX brand, does not guarantee it's all the same quality or grade of glass. Any truth to this?

Second question... I know Safelite glass is bad (yeah, sue me Safelite like it's not true), but what other labels should we never let touch our vehicle? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">
