I don't think they even knew about fiber optics back then. But you are probably right. Also as I said I pass on those cracks too. Just thought I would throw that out there. I also pass on the long cracks . The state inspectors out here in Jersey don't get it yet that some cracks can be repaired. Chips are ok but they frown on crack repairs.
