UV can be "bounced" by the use of a mirror. The strength of the rays are not weakend because they do not pass through any medium. If you are familiar with Laser technology, you will recall that it is light that is bounced back and forth between mirrors and columinated to focus the beam into a very small area and then released from the device. The word laser itself is a an acronym for "Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation. In the bouncing of UV rays, I do not bounce them from a mirror then through a magnifying glass...the strength of the rays is sufficient to cure the resin in a short period of time.
