I use dawn at about maybe a half teaspoon in a quart of water. Then wipe with a mesh covered sponge and squeegee. I think having a really good squeegee helps a lot, like the ones the professional glass cleaners use. I use a 12 inch one but have to angle it to clean across the top because of the curve. Then just use it like usual for the rest. This is really nice for motor home windshields because of the size. Makes short work of it.
