All of our wiper sales are retail. We don't even mess with dealers, new or used since most have the same (or better) buying power as us and will typically stock their own. Your best chance is with used lots. Not a bad idea if you can make it happen. Even if you became a middle man making $1 or $2 per wiper, that is good money for very little work. I wouldn't be surprised if after an order or 2 they call and get the same pricing as you and just order them direct. Definately worth the effort while you are visiting their lot anyway. If they don't want to buy volume, check the wipers and sell them sets whenever you can. Give them good wholesale pricing and they will probably go for it.
Just to give you an idea, we average about 5 sets a day from our shop. (repair and replacements). Some days more than 10. We make $10+ plus per set, that is an extra $50 to $100 cash per day. Keeping in mind that it takes about 2 minutes of work!! Well worth the effort. But, you have to SELL them!!!
