Clay, I personaly use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol from a company called Crown. We use it a lot in the Airline Industry. We also use acetone but I don't use it for windshield repair because it is a medium grade solvent. I am not sure what would happen to the PVB laminate by using acetone. It might break the laminate down. Maybe someone else has some factual info on this.

There are others that sell kits for cleaning. Check with your supplier.
