First I wash out the break. I always let it air dry. This concentration of alcohol evaporates quite rapidly. The reason I let it air dry is due to the high flash point. Our purpose is to repair the damage not make it worse which a potential flash might do. I always try to repair without drilling unless it is a crack. If drilling is neccessary then I clean first, drill second and clean again. This works best for me.
