PDR DYI

Post by the wayniac »

I have an old Ranger, that has seen quite afew shopping carts (or whatever) over the years. I'd been hunting for info on doing some PDR, but after readin here, it seems it is not for the layman, and the proper materials/tolls to do it right would be cost prohibitive. Would someone with an old (10years) vehicle be better off just filling as opposed to paying for PDR by a pro? Not knocking the art/trade, just hard to justify anything other than PM for some old dogs.

It depends if you are doing the filling etc. yourself how much you value your time. I would suggest getting an estimate.

I do HLR & WSR: We had a hail storm Sunday am on the east coast. The roof of my Volvo has one ding. Is there anyone near Raleigh or Durham that can do the dentless repair? It looks pushed in about 8 inches from the edge on the rear passenger side.
