New Headlight Restoratin Kit With Infinity 4.1

Post by Clear & Brite HLR »

Just got my new Headlight Restoratin Kit With Infinity 4.1 Coating . It worked great
Did a 1996 Dakota pick up turned out 9 out of 10 . Then did a 1997 Chevy pickup 9 1/2 on that one
Both had the ripple like lites . It still glowed. Cant wait to get it in the field . Have done about 25 pair with
wet santing and a buffer . And they looked good but not like Delta kit . Its a winner . Highly recommend

Shhhhh, we haven't made the official announcement yet! :D

Thank you for your kind words. We have been testing the Infinity 4.1 for nearly a year in our own shop and are extremely excited to finally be able to share it with the general public...sometime in the next few weeks. In the mean time it is available to those who ask for it.

So tell us a bit more about your new product. Is it a one part system?

You guys are really screwing up our marketing plan. Danny is going to kill me but it's really Jordan's fault because she got so excited about the new product she just couldn't help but tell a few people about it! Okay, I have to admit I may have mentioned it to a few folks as well. It's hard to keep something you really like a secret!

Infinity 4.1 is mixed 4/1 We had it formulated from the ground up so it's a completely different animal than our Coat2Protect. We put a lot of time and money into the R&D of this product to address the weak areas of other popular headlight coatings.

Without fans Infinity 4.1 is dry to the touch in 30 minutes or less in most climates. With fans 20 minutes or less. Yes, air flow, not heat will speed up dry time significantly. Coat2Protect can take 1-3 hours to dry to the touch and even then is quite soft for several hours. A faster dry time gives the technician much more confidence when a customer needs to drive the car right away, but unlike some other fast dry coatings you still have enough working time to make sure you there are no runs, etc.

Infinity 4.1creates a much harder protective surface on the lens. Within 1 hour after coating it is already harder than the Coat2Protect after 24 hours. This makes the surface much more resistant to rocks, car wash brushes, etc. You can feel the difference!

We used an accelerated weather machine to test Infinity 4.1 side by side with Coat2Protect and several other leading headlight coatings. The Infinity 4.1 lasted several times longer than Coat2Protect and all other products tested. Some of the products tested began to yellow and deteriorate very quickly, but the Infinity 4.1 showed very little color change or deterioration after the equivalent several years weathering.

Although Infinity 4.1 is going to be slightly more expensive, refill kits contain more product and it is a lower viscosity than Coat2Protect so it actually costs less per application.

Infinity 4.1 is a water based formula so it can be shipped by air with no special HAZMAT requirements. It is safer to use and waste is easier to dispose of than Coat2Protect and other leading formulas. Cleans up with water.

Although we still recommend that you use Infinity 4.1 within 3 months of purchase, the shelf life compared to Coat2Protect is significantly improved. In about a year of testing, so far we have yet to see any hardening in the bottle, either sealed or opened and closed repeatedly.

I don't think new customers will find anything they don't like about Infinity 4.1. Customers who have used Coat2Protect may find that Infinity 4.1 takes a little more finesse to apply, however once you get used to applying a thinner coat it goes on very smoothly. So far it has not been a concern for the professional headlight restoration technicians who have used it.

You may notice that when compared side by side with Coat2Protect is that directly after application the appearance of Infinity 4.1 does not give quite the same shine. However, once both products are completely dry it is very difficult to tell the difference and after a few weeks the Infinity 4.1 looks better than the Coat2Protect. An extra polishing step prior to application will give you the "wow" factor, but so far none of our customers who have tried Infinity 4.1 have felt the difference was significant enough to worry about.

The questions has been asked..."will free samples be offered?" I'm not sure yet but probably not. We do however offer a money back guarantee if not 100% satisfied with your Delta Kits purchase.

Like any other new product some technicians will love it and some won't, but the dry time, shelf life and durability improvements are sure to be welcomed by all. We welcome any and all feedback.

Who really wrote this? Clear & Brite HLR or AutoglassExpress? Not that it makes a big deal... Two authors with the same post looking at the first post and the copy quote post fourth down...
