The one time I restored a single headlight with the other side being brand new I could not match them in clarity.
It was an older BMW and I could see a slight haze on the inside .
If the problem is on the outside only are you able to match the clarity of a brand new headlight ,and in the sun?
Can you match the clarity of 1 new headlight ?

Maybe the slight haze on the inside is the clue there, the new headlight would not have it in. Outside only I have done a lot of them with no problems, in fact the first 5 I did were single headlamps on RR damaged from the factory, many years ago.

I have picked up a half dozen body shops in the last month, just to restore the original headlight to match the new one they replaced. After I restored the old headlight it still didn't match the new one, so I had to clean and seal the new one to improve it to match the old restored one. The Infinity 4.1 is an amazing product.
