My windshield is more than 10 years old and it's in pretty bad shape. It has millions of "road rash" -alike (sry, I don' know the English term for it) and figuring if it could be repaired by sanding or polishing.
Does anyone know how to have my windshield bettered without expensive tools? I don't mind using lots of hour to do this as this is for my personal car not for my future business service.

To remove pits you need to remove glass, it would be extremely difficult to do this without causing a lens effect, which is not a good idea.
