PDR here, and some HLR. Interior repair I did for a good few years and did well from it, I stopped about 8 years ago when the demand dropped off. In truth I could easily do just WSR but I enjoy the challenge and skills of PDR.

Newbie here. I used to have a Franchise doing Vinyl. Leather, Plastic, Fabric, as well as windshields but told them to get bent. I'm getting my feet wet again after being in the A.F. since 9/11 so I could get my retirement. I would like to market this end of the biz a little harder but don't know where to start. Heck, I can't even get a loan from either the Bank, VA or the SBA because I'm not a big enough risk. What's up with that? The Discriminators! Yeah, I'm struggling to get this venture rolling.

I am retired military. Why bother with a franchise. Get the basic kit and start cold calling:

Hey candyman I am not sure how to reach you as I have a few questions for you since you are in NC. I am on the NC/SC state line and can use a few tips.

Car detailing is a good add on, if you do it right you can make good money with this... not only that, but if you do a good job, you've got a customer for life, and also you have referrals on top of that.

It doesn't cost much for materials etc, easy to store, put it all in the garage until needed.

Find out what to charge, by getting some free quotes on your car, van, limo! :D
I’m crazy about cars, my wife just thinks I’m crazy though…

Is detailing not time consuming and a low hourly rate compared with WSR? I know over here the detailing guys are not getting much over $20 an hours and that is the top one's, average would be $12 an hour.

The best add on for WSR is more WSR, just my humble opinion of course, but after a while if like me you want another cahllenge I can understand the add on's.

What about new wiper blades? You're there anyway and many people struggle putting them on so they would love it if you did it for them
