Try State Farm - I was there this Sat just gone and the broker made it so easy - she was great as they cover this kind of business no problem ($1m liability) You need comprehensive business liability ..look into disability insurance and income replacement if you want... always good to have this kind of coverage. Hope this helps.

I pay $215 a year from RLI. Ashley was great and made the whole thing simple. I was done in a couple of hours, after receiving app. then faxing back and paying. RLI recently switched from requiring a local agent to sell the policy, to selling it themselves. As stresslessone said, Ashley is great, and is very familiar with windshield repair technicians and their insurance needs. $500K policies generally range from $175-$250 per year, so they are very inexpensive.

I'm in Canada -- State Farm here sells insurance for our industry -- repair and replacement is classifed together.

With all the problems State farm has created surrounding WSR I am surprised that anyone here would suggest doing business with them!!! There are alot of insurer out there!!! State farm is not even on my list anymore. We are in one of the states they are declining to pay for WSR in.

All of my techs are insured through AXA insurance, we have what they call a garage policy. We pay close to $30 per month, and the policy is modified to reflect our working conditions(IE: reduced rate due to the fact that we don't repair brakes, weld, swing hammers, work with air tools(impact wrenchs ect), and don't road-test the car after a WS repair(unless it's an exotic and the owner insists). The best thing to do is call your normal insurance provider for a quote.

I have never heard of AXA .. reduced by how much exactly? From what I know from anothers experience with State Farm they paid up very quick for damage to a location ... I did go into these variables you mentioned (not specific to pneumatic tools tho) as the caulking gun, 18v drill is used for replacement of course and repair... I am paying $38. Dont you get bored of repairs after a while repair brise? and want a new challenge to conquer -- thats why replacement was pursued... just a thought.. anyhow thank you for your advice.

Is that enough Eddie? If you are just doing repair then perhaps. I dont think repair is challenging enough for you though.
