My advice on this would be to note who the w/s manufacturer was and inform the dealer who supplied the the glass. If it was OE, then you should get refund. Another glass with distortion is not surprisng since the windscreens are made in volume batches so if their is a inspection quality issue, it will be replicated throughout the batch

Over the last few years I have seen the quality of brands like fyg increase quite a bit while at the same time many of our 'domestic' brands are being made in places like Mexico (thanks, Carlite!) and I've seen their quality control begin to slip. Little things like untrimmed laminate and unsanded edges to big problems like a crate of FW2372 Pilks with some of the worst distortions I've ever seen. At this point I still will choose a ppg or pilk or lof over a generic when I have the choice but I 'grade' each windshield before installation regardless of the brand.
