Allstate is switching to SGC effective 1/1/12. This is sad news for me as I get quite a bit of business from Allstate under Lynx.

Roo..sorry to here that. Hopefully your past customers will call you first instead of calling that number on back of card (which goes directly to SGC, TPA's)

When this happened to me in "06" after losing AAA (70% of my insurance referrals) to SGC. I sent out 4,000 mailers to past customers explaining the change and to call me directly. It helped. Might try that and good luck!

I stay in contact with all of my past customers and most call me first as it is. I bet the payout increases for Allstate claims as well. I don't understand why an insurance company would switch to a network that is going to charge more? Anybody have an answer? I also wonder how this will affect Lynx? Allstate is alot of business for them, at least in Colorado.

Because SGC can offer something Lynx can't. It's called "Average Invoice Pricing" State Farm will soon transfer also...it's just a matter of time. My guess is Lynx will be gone in 2-3 years. Unfortunately, Belron/Safelite is our current day Pac-Man and will gobble up everything they can.

You guys aint seen nothing yet. The worst is yet to come.
Similar information has been discussed here previously. But the message (our experiences/knowledge) appeared to be too bitter to some, too many guys wouldn't listen and simply closed their eyes and ears. That is not my problem, I just share the information here. I guess that some are still interested, may I suggest you to do a search here on this very forum, may I also suggest to specifically look for a post named ''Belron is coming'' and other Belron (and Safelite) related old stuff?

It's going to need some time and energy, but there is a lot of good info re this subject.
Have a good weekend, happy reading.

I'm all for it! My referals from Safelite Solutions are up big time! Would be nice to see Allstate on board with them. Bet they roll in at $65 flat rate. It's all good!

Clearquest: How are you getting referrals from Safelite Solutions? ....I thought Safelite has their own fleet of trucks and technicians?

Humm...How can I and the rest of us get referrals from Safelite too?

Dont worry guys one door will close and another will open. This just means that you will have to be more creative at what you do!Make sure you are doing your mailers to past customers. As for the last post you will not get safelite jobs dispatched to you unless they dont have anyone in that area.I am a preferred vendor on the network and do not get dispatches from them unless they are out in the boonies where they dont want to go.I look at lynx as just a bonus and DO NOT count on it for a living.

I can actually see where the switch could be a benefit for those of us who utilizes the networks. Lynx isn't really known to be a "Big Pay-Out" corp.

Switching could bring an increase. And regardless of the amount, at least it will be more than before!
