Pontiac G8 windshield replacement

Having trouble with the cowl cover going back properly - bad gap. Also need some replacement cowl clips. Anybody done one of these and can help me out with either situation? Thanks!

Did you set the glass to factory height? I will assume full cut, then use factory foam block so glass doesn't sink to low on fresh urethane resulting in gap to cowl. If foam destroyed you can use correct height aftermarket foam blocks or make a few from original bead of urethane. Also possible bad bend in glass?

Thanks for your reply. Obviously I did something wrong here! I am hoping that maybe someone who has done this windshield before and has the problems(s) figured out could give me a heads up. Thanks in advance for any help!
