The Great Paper Towel Debate

Hey guys, I know we all agree that the paper towel used to apply the UV coating needs to be lint free. How are you folding the towel? Are you using a square edge or making a point? Are there other applicators that you have used that work or don't work?

Blue Scott towel work the best because they are lint free. Cut the towel in half then fold in halves until you reach a square about 1 - 1.5 inches square. Use the square side to wipe. I have found nothing that works as well as the folded paper towel.

Roll the towel in a 1 - 2" roll then flatten it down and cut it in 2" strips and one sheet should give you about 6 - 8 pieces. Flat edge and thick enough to soak up the mix.
That is what I do.

GlassStarz, do you fold the towel to have a point? Is that what you meant by a good corner edge? I like the square edge myself but I guess it can be a matter of preference.
Paper towels are less expensive then foam brushes.

I haven't tried it. The blue towel works perfectly at a good price and every store has them on the shelf. No need to look for anything different. IMHO
