Hi, I have just filed for my trade name. I can't seem to find anywhere where it says I need to file for a business lisense. Is this the case? Trade name, insurance and go? Thanks in advance.

Each state, city and county is different. You will need to do some research in your local area for the laws pertaining to licenses.

Thanks, I did some serious searching on the state ,city , and county sites and my field of business is not on the lists...they all seem to say that if Im not listed than I dont need to register..so I guess Im going to go for it and see how it goes...just do a 1099 at year end and see what happens.Thanks for responding. take it easy and good luck.
