Spend a couple of hundred bucks and get QuickBooks. You will be money ahead with this purchase.

I use Quickbooks "Simple Start" which is all a basic service business needs. It sells for around $79-99

Re: Free book keeping program?
I just purchased QuickBooks Pro 2010 (upgrade) about two weeks ago and I paid $132.00. It may have a few more features than you need but it is a great stand alone program that will grow right along with your company.

QB it the only way to go... Most accountants use QB's also and you can just hand them a flash drive to work off.
