Default Air Fare....holy cow!

Man, I really want to come out to Eugene for training but wow! I could practically by the repair kit for how much the ticket is these days. Just had to rant a little I know there is nothing that can be done about it. It is what it is

Yeah surprisingly it was more expensive to fly to Eugene then it would have been to fly out to Florida for the mobile expo. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make that expo do to time constraints. Eugene airport is very small so the volume of flights going there are far less. If this is your first time getting training though it is definitely a great investment.

Portland is about 1.5 hours from Eugene and "sometimes" you can save a bunch of money even after renting a car. It also changes all the time, so one day you might pay $600 and the next day $350. That is one of the reasons we like to hold training classes in Florida and in Las Vegas. The air fare is almost always cheaper regardless of where you are flying from.

Roo, I recently referred a customer to SGT for training. She couldn't make it to a Delta Kits training class but did not want to purchase a windshield repair system until she had some hands on experience. This was the first time I ever recommended training with anyone other than Delta Kits here in the states, but the feedback I got was very positive so wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

You will have to check with Brian to see what he would charge for one on one windshield repair training, but it may cost you less to travel to PA than it would to OR.

Brent, if you could authorize SGT to certify us and we get a certificate more people might just take SGT up on his training. Alot if us are on the east coast and PA is beautiful this time of the year. I bet a lot of people would jump on that training.

I hope someday we will be able to do just that. I believe Brian has all the skills necessary to be a Delta Kits trainer, and I know his attention to detail is second to none.

The only thing stopping me from authorizing Brian to offer Delta Kits certification classes is the fact that I have not had the opportunity to watch or work with him in a classroom setting other than the times he has attended our training. I take our training and certification classes very seriously, and constantly critique the performance of my trainers for content and consistency, which is why I have never authorized anyone other than a full time Delta Kits employee to offer the Delta Kits certification in the US.

Every windshield repair technician develops his/her own techniques, but a trainer who works for me has to put all their personal preferences aside and teach only Delta Kits recommended procedures. This is not easy for most veteran technicians, and impossible for most.

If Brian is interested, and I think he is, I hope we will be able to work something out soon but he will definitely be the exception to the rule.

That is GREAT NEWS!
I hope this can be worked out & will happen. You can count me for some SGT Delta authorized training.
One other question Brent? Do you think if this does happen I can get a job with Brian? I am just playing......I really hope you guys can put something together here, me + many others will be happy campers if you do.
