Wow! Do you really get 55.00 on the wholesale side and 20.00 for additional chips? Just curious. I'm sure So Cal is different from Tacoma, Washington. Anybody know what the fare market value of a chip repair is in Western Washington on the wholesale side, or even on the "out of pocket" retail side? Not trying to be smart but just trying to be fair.

Default Astro charging

I'm a little north of Seattle here in Everett.
I carge $45 for all wholesale work. I have never had any problem with this price. Some Companies try to come in and charge as little as $20. Sometimes they take the account, but they never stay around very long. Most fleet accounts place great value on knowing that you will be around for the long haul.

My retail (cash, check, & major credit card) price is also $45. That is $45 for up to four (4) rock chips per windshield. I have a different way of looking at this pricing. Better than eighty five percent of the repairs that I do typically only have one or sometimes two rock chips on the windshield. So what there happens to be four rock chips. I charge the same price, and my clients really like that.

I also get the lookie lues that seem to think that they can get the same quality repair down the street at the place that charges $29.95 for the first rock chip. Usually after I explain that there is a difference between paying the price for a quality guaranteed repair v.s. not knowing what your going to get for $29.95, or $19.95, or whatever big deal the WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT shop has to offer.

Keep it simple,

Default Retail price

Just wanted to say HI. I am looking forward to have a windshield repair forum that is active. I have been doing windshield repair for about three years. I do use a Delta Kits set-up along with one other. I enjoy my set-up and will offer any experience I have.

I used to get my stuff from Delta kits also until the quality started to go down hill. I shopped around and found a lot better quality products for less money. Do your homework... The truth is out there.

Default Wholesale?

Jim,

Sorry to hear that you do not like our products! I think a posting of why you do not like our products along with your company name would be more beneficial that just a broad generic statement with no value.

As i'm sure you can imagine, it is sometimes great fun for our competitors to post anonymous derogatory comments in our forums.
