Although, there are other boards for windshield repair, I'm glad there is another.
One of the other boards has tons of pop ups, which gets real aggravating. It's good to get different perspectives from other pros who may not post on other boards.
|

I agree Cracker!
Having more than one board helps round out the information that a windshield repair tech receives. Thanks! [b]Jeff Higgins Delta Kits, Inc. jhiggins@deltakits.com www.deltakits.com
|

I am relatively new to windshield repair, two years in business. I work in a small city (30,000) in south Louisiana. My income has been in low $60,000 each year.
I have learned a lot from the comments of other repairmen. I seldom comment on these boards and I can understand why many others read only and not comment. Some folks seem to think that their way is the only way of doing things. If you disagree, they slam you. I hesitate to post techniques that I have used even though I know they work well for me. As I said, I work in a small city. After two years, most of my business is return customers or folks that they have referred. When I read of a method that is different than mine, I try it. Sometimes it works better. Sometimes it is easier. Sometimes it only works in special situations. But, at least I know another way of doing things. I hope that you are able to maintain this board as a place where that all feel free to comment. There are a lot of ideas out there that I would like to try. They will be available to all, if they are posted.
|

Mr Glass Paul,
Couldn't have said it better! In your opinion, what can be done differently to get all those people that read and not post, to post? It's like a snowball effect, having more people post leads to even MORE people to post, pretty soon we have a happenin' place here! Thanks for your insight!
