Hello eveyone!
You know, i am on this forum every single day since i found it.
My typing sucks, and it takes me forever to post anything because of it.
My point is that i dont mind, because this forum and (rock chip rich) forum is great! Without it i wouldnt have been able to pick your brains. and i wouldnt have been able to get your advise on the quality products that you techs are using in the field. I am going into this biz and have an advantage over some because of the advise i recieve here from you guys!!

it's really neat to get to talk with guys like Brian Fenner and all you other techs who take the time to respond to posts that new people like me post.
It's almost like being a kid and your waiting for somthing to arrive in the mail thats meant just for you.( AND YES GUYS I DO HAVE A LIFE) i just wanted to share my thoughts about these forums.
I dont know for sure if i am going to buy a delta kit or not. But if you seen my last post about DELTA KITS you seen what i wrote, and that i believe to be the truth. My post is still there. DELTA KITS FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON THIS.
I do agree that with any business forum you should try to find a solution with any problem you post. Your solution might be for someone elses post but it is a solution!
I firmly believe that without these forums we would be spending more money to try to fix our problems instead of seeking out solutions.

In closing thank you all for you comments and most of all your posts. I cant wait to get started real soon!

p.s.Brian i am still tossed between Deltas kit and the U.S. windshield repair kit. talk to you soon.

Default Thank You For The Forum

Chprfixr,

You are doing the right thing, be patient and make an educated decision. After all, this will be all or a portion of your lively hood. As you can see by my signature, "Pay It Forward" I am committed to helping all where and when I can. It may not always be what you want to hear but then again this is a forum where opinions are requested. I would like to think I sometimes supply food for thought which might help someone to make the best decision possible for themselves, whatever that maybe. My "Pay It Forward" approach I would also like in return and given from all techs to one another....This will help us all reach are goals a little faster maybe.

It does not matter whether you are new or old in windshield repair. We should not judge or be judged based on how new or old in WSR you are. We don't know the skills or technical background one brings to WSR from other trades or life in general. So we should all be prepared to learn from both new and old techs alike.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well in my mind, the only dog who is not capable of learning anymore is a dead dog.

Chprfixr, you keep posting as often as you want and we all will try to help. Someday I will expect you to "Pay It Forward" to me.

Pay it foward,

Brian

I also want to say that this forum has helped me out a lot. I got started in this business with a friend of mine with very informal, and nonthorough training. We started it, only for me to later on down the line, because of these forums, realize we could be doing much better repairs.

Its good to have a place to be able to come to when you need some help or advice, and you know you'll get some.

Thanks
