I have read the posts regarding windshield repair system recommendations and although I believe that everyone has good intentions, I’m not sure they are helping you much. Obviously Delta Kits cannot give you an unbiased opinion, but on the other hand, since we offer a money back guarantee, we have nothing to gain by selling you something that you will be unhappy with. You should buy whatever you determine is the best, regardless of price. That is the only way you will be happy in the end.
Contrary to some opinions that you may have read on this forum, I think there is a great deal of difference in equipment and resins. The injection system and resin are both very important to the repair process. We have boxes of equipment that customers have traded in because they don’t like it. They wouldn’t be doing this if equipment didn’t matter. Customer service is also very important. I think Delta Kits provides excellent customer service and I am sure that some of our competitors do as well. However I am equally sure that some do not. That question might be worth asking to other readers of the forum, as many are customers of our competitors. Assuming you do your homework and choose the right equipment, you could still end up doing lousy repairs. Proper technique can be taught but no one can make you use that technique. Regardless of how good the system is, the end result of the repair will be determined to some degree by how much you care. Someone else in a previous posting made that point, and it definitely has some merit. I hope this doesn’t sound like a shameless plug for Delta Kits. I just didn’t feel that your post was getting the response that you were looking for. Hopefully you will get some responses that clearly explain why they like or don’t like Delta Kits.
