I called 4 glass companies that do mobile repairs in my area and none of them offer scratch removal. I assume that it is much more profitable to sell a new windshield, so no one does it.
Do you offer scratch removal? Seems like a no-brainer to me; the kit costs $500.00 and each job would be $40-$100. Thats a quick ROI. Help the new guy out and share your thoughts on this, Jason </p> |

I bought a less expensive kit, but it takes too long and I never got very good results. It was also extremely messy. I just decided I could repair a lot of windshields in the time it took to remove the scratch from 1.

We use the glas weld system. It does work as said, but it pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. I have some acid rain to remove this weekend, easy money for me.
