Are there any insurance company that have good rates for windshield repair?

Also I just got a spot with a auto repair shop that does state inspection. I will be set up inside his shop also the shop next door want me to put banners outside there shop also.

Im I over doing it or should I just keep the one shop? Both shop are 20ft from each other.

Default business insurance

rickyreed,

I set up with RLI. They directed me to one of their underwriters that handles their policies in PA (Christian and Baker) to be exact. They then discussed with me my options based on my needs and sent me a application. My price for the highest liability coverage was $210.00 for $1,000,000 coverage. I could have elected for more property coverage but that increases the premium. It might be a different pricing structure in your part of the country. Can't help you there, just give them a call. You must also meet their criteria for a home based business as these are the ony types of policies they write. A general search on the net will get there website and number.

As for over extending yourself, if both shops don't expect your service to be exclusive to their facility and if you can meet the demand that is placed on you without sacraficing quality then by all means enjoy the profits.

Pay it foward,

Brian

I needed to add General Liability Insurance for my company in order to meet the requirements of Lynx. I was having a lot of trouble finding a comapany locally that seemed to know what I ws looking for.

Thank goodness I found this thread. I contacted bfenne and he was very helpful. Finally I think I have found an agency that represents RLI and seemed to know what they were talking about.

Thanks Brian. I really appreciate it.

The "key" for me seemed to be to ask for an "In-Home Business Policy". If anyone else if having trouble you might want to try uttering those words during your search.
