where do I get some practice glass. do i buy it from a auto glass shop or will they let me have their old glass free? I'm interested in doing some demo work so I would like a smaller piece if possible.

Roger,
All I did was take a business card into a local glass shop and explain that while they do chip epair also, I dont do replacements so... if I could bother them for a piece of broken glass (that gets thrown away anyway) I would in return be more than happy to refer some customers their way. Some may say "no" simply becase you are a competitor but most times they wont mind because its one less piece of glass to pay for the disposal of. as far as doing a demo goes, Id say if a full window is too big simply break it in half </p> |
