gtrepair,

The compressor we use is a Makita MAC 500. It is electric, 2.5 gal and oil free.

It's small enough to easily fit under the hard toneau cover on our trucks. It's probably about the same size as your Accuset compressor.

The etching instructions require 65 psi and the compressor has little problem supplying a constant pressure - once in a while we need to pause and let it build back up.

Thanks for responding Brian. I just sent back the stencal's for the GT vin etching Syst. to exchange them for a set that is all lined up... Gary said they have a differant set of stencals. A few would sit up just a little higher than the others. I was not to pleased with that even on my own truck... I talked to Gary and he said just return the stencals for the up dated ones... Not bad, they satnd behind what they sell. Even if it is other 2 years old frm when I bought the system.
