Has anyone used this Delta DS100 Moisture evaporator?
I'm would like to hear from someone that has actually used it to find out how well it gets the water out of a rock chip or even a crack.
Morning frost and snow are common in Colorado this time of year, and although I know how to "boil out" a chip using acetone and a butane torch, I don't like this method as I don't like to heat the glass that much. Any feedback will be much appreciated.
Also, does anyone know where to buy one of those clear plastic domes?
While I'm going through my wish list, can anyone recommend a good tool or tackle box?

Default dry out heater

Gary,

If you do end up going with a moisture evaporator, make sure you follow the directions so you do not overheat the windshield. On our moisture evaporator, you do not want to leave it on the glass for more than 20 seconds between cool downs. Typically, it should remove all moisture within that 20 seconds anyway.

I'll leave it to others to tell you how they like their DS100's. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
