Hi Sprinter,
We service several local city transit bus fleets with split windshields. We treat them as 1 windshield for pricing - $55 -10 -10. Regards, Mike Burstein Dominion Windshield Repair www.ChipDr.com

Hey Sprinter,
We also treat vehicles with split windshields as one unit. Our pricing for Fleet work is 1st repair: $50.00 2nd repair: $15.00 all other repairs Free. (Chip repair only) Are rates for private vehicles with split windshields such as RV's / Tractor trailers is being determined. I fore see a price of about $90.00. I just wont to clear up some confusion. We do not charge per side. We charge as if the windshield was not split.
Sorry if that was confusing to anyone. Brian@ SAFEGLASSTECHNOLOGIES.COM

thanks all!
hey bfenne, what do you charge for regular repairs since I thought everyone gives a fleet price thats cheaper than normal price. I thought fleets would start at 35-40 since there is volume, guess I'm in a row boat instead of a speed boat cause thats not much of a price break or is it! I remember when 30 was the normal charge and 45 was high but I guess if your charging insurance companys get whats the going rate,,,,,59.95 or is it higher thanks all for the replys.

Hey sprinter,
There are no price police out there or laws that govern prices. We do not try to undercut any competition or match what the competition charges. We charge accordingly for the product/service we deliever. We have retail rates which the insurance companies pay and we have a wholesale rate which is offered to our fleet accounts and is extended to our cash customers through different specials. We also have volume discounts for our fleet customers. If you get into the price game with your competition, well sooner or later something is sacrificed. We our more concerned about quality than quality. The later will come in time but not at the sake of price war. So my friend charge what you think is best for you. Oh, it does not matter if your in a speed boat or a row boat as long as your moving forward. Pay it foward, Brian info@safeglasstechnologies.com www.safeglasstechnologies.com
