I've seen so many repairs done that finish with what looks like a brass filling right in the middle has anyone eles seen this and can tell me what repair company would let this go as top notch work! drill scoring looks bad enough but to fill the pit area with brass looks cheesy to me!

I do believe I know what you are talking about and its not actualy brass. its the type of resin that was used. I dont know what resin it is but after a few months it winds up looking like a shrunken penny jamed in the pit.

one thing I can say for sure is its not deltas resins. Ive used them for many years and had many many repeat customers and they have all stayed pretty clear
