Starquest, I don't carry a ladder when on my scooter. I have found across the board that when I go to a company who has a vehicle tall enough to need a ladder that they have one I can use.
To answer your second question about Jiffy Lube, my website is outdated as is my signature. I do not do insurance billing anymore and I do not work with Jiffy Lubes anymore. It would take me a long time to explain why but suffice it to say that getting employees good enough to make being in a Jiffy Lube worthwhile was close to impossible. We hired maybe 50ish or so employees to make a run at it and only about 2 of them were any good for more than a week or 3. The insurance billing is also gone. We found after a year and a half of trying to get the billing program smooth with little or no capital investments, that it was a task that at this point in our lives was not something we wanted to continue to struggle with. We actually proccessed for over 100 different Jiffy Lubes at a time and the bookwork and reconciling and filing was just way too much manually. It needs a good program like ACT's to do everything electronically and we didn't have the money to make the program so we ditched it. not to say that we won't pick it back up because we have everything in place to do it except the program. SCRATCHY, Yes a scooter LOL. It goes up to 75MPH and looks like a mini Goldwing. It is a blast to drive around too. I drove it in the rain 2 hours to get to the Delta Kits Eugene training session where I was speaking a couple weeks agoand I was absolutely drenched... it was fun :twisted:

Training in Houston Oct 3, any specifics you want to hear??
my crash helmet is fitted with a ladder rack it will only carry ladders up to 14 foot long without giving me a headache. I have found it best to avoid speeds in excess of 90mph when carrying the ladder due to lift off.
I use a BMW and offset 50% of all its running cost and purchase price against tax.
