Default Headlight Repair

[quote="screenman"]Try a couple of drops of resin on the injector thread before you put it in, as a lubricant this improves the feel no end.

Thank you so much for this hint. It works like a minor miracle!! I was so very afraid you would never again reply to a post from this errant student...smile.

I have had the most successful morning of windshield repair practice ever thanks to you and GlassDoctor.

Also wanted to let you know that I couldn’t be a greater supporter of your view point re: bottom pricing and poor repairs. I was the one who encouraged fiancé to raise his prices two times over the last two years. I’m also the first to respond to clients who ask “Why do you charge so much when the guy at the carwash charges $10?"

“Better take a good look at him/her now because odds are he/she won’t be around in a year. Better take a good look at that repair, too, because odds are it will be yellow in a year - IF it even holds that long. Quality will always shines through.” (pun intended).

It amazes me how many clients remember that line when they call us to repair a new windshield (because the $10 repair didn’t hold and they had to replace the old windshield!)

Again, thank you for giving me a second chance...smile

Victoria
