Great idea with the hand warmer packs GlassStarz!

I also use them but ultilize a small cooler which contains all my resins and pit fillers. Putting resins in your pocket works fine for many but being resin skin sensitive, I will never chance it because of possible leakage.

Another winter tip.... is to always keep your UV lamp warm. When temps fall below 35 degrees UV bulbs aren't very efficient. Simply place lamp over defrost during repair set up for best curing results.

My trick, since I am very sensitive to contact with resin ....

In cold weather, I keep my resins in my pocket, BUT, I first put them in a pocket sized cigar case. Naturally, I keep my cigars in a different case.

One can find a case in just about anyplace that sells cheap cigars for less than 5 bucks.

Great ideas. Thanks. I have one of those cooler/heat devices. I'll try it along with other suggestions.
Dave M, yes this was a cold snap for NE TX. But, we usually get one every year for a day or two.

these past few days has been in the low 20's, we had snow one day, and we have a few people around here thats not smart enough to turn off their sprinkler systems so when the wind blow usally there is water all over the road. well the city goes out and spreads some rocks on the ice and snow for tractions. when it warms up the ice and snow melts and us guessed it!! the rocks are just laying there waiting for someone to come along and help them find a windshield. I have been busy these past few days, with repairs. i love it helps pay for Christmas. winter weather work has been very good for me. i hope everone has a merry christmas and happy new year. Advantage Windshield Repair aka Zach's Glass aka Rosco
