The Key To Making Money With Windshield Repair!

It's been a while since I posted a looooong while. The tips, and techniques to repairing a windshild are not rocket science. If you have a problem repairing a particular break in any kind of weather condition that's all on this forum.

If you are looking for a great resin and or the right tools you can get this all on this forum. Btw Delta crack resins and Fas-break resins are both great.
That's the only ones I've ever seen or used.

The key to making this all work is work on selling yourself.

I've seen guy's who are average at windshield repair but great at selling themselves making a great living while others who could win windshield repair contests who struggle to survive because they are afraid of their own shadow.

If you want to be great at anything SELL YOURSELF. This is a people business. You just happen to be in the windshield repair business. You can make this as easy or as hard as you want.

The bottom line is don't rely on wasted advertising flyers, valpack etc. This industry is the easiest to make a great living at, or the hardest to put food on your table. It's all up to you.

Nut it up and quit over analyzing and get out there and talk to people. It really is that easy when you focus and go for it.

Well I have to agree with Cracker,
I have trained a lot of people in this biz. It all comes down to how motivated they are to go out and make a living. I hear people say all the time, I don't want to have to sell, or they just want people to come to them. In my opinion that is the fastest way to go broke. You got it right on man when you say they just got to go out and get it done. People will miss all the sales they don't ask for. Go out and sell, sell, sell.

Spot on mate this business is far better than work its just like a big game, most of the people we meet want to say yes its just up to you to help them get the word out. Never stop selling talk to everybody about screen repair the more you practise the easier it gets.

The saying goes "If you want the world to beat a path to your doorstep... you have to PAVE it for them first" ... this means an investment of time and money in advertising and promotion. Even successful businesses continue to advertise... and for a very good reason... the market continually changes ... and even though word-of-mouth is still considered the best form of advertising... it should never be the only form. Its also important to personally go and meet people, especially when trying to land commercial accounts. A lot of people still put stock in the way a person shakes hands and makes eye contact... things you just cant do with a telephone or letter (even though there is also a time and place for them too.)
