Flame? or no Flame?
Sometimes a little flame from a match or bic lighter while the injector is in vac mode will do wonders to help move along the process I especially like to use it when its cold so im not outside as long.
So im out saturday doing one of my fleets its 18 deg f with a brisk wind can you say BRRRRRR? after doing several other trucks im working on this ugly combo got a little air in the booger that wont go away im thinking good time for the bic, I admit it im froze to the bone and not thinking quickly reach into the box for the old bic when it dawns on me should I use fire while in the middle of 40 Propane trucks????? LOL

I used to do work for a petrol company and they used to check our tools before we went on site just to make sure we had nothing that could make any sort of flame, they were even unsure about the UV lamp. Try the handwarmer packs you can buy at some sports shops, the type where you break the capsule inside and the 2 liquids mix together to give off heat and place it behind the break. I have had success with these when I was not able to start the vehicle for whatever reasons in cold weather.

If you see signs all over the place "NO SMOKING" ... then take a clue from that ... in that situation "NO SMOKING" really means no open flame of any kind, and that would include the dry-star dry out tool too, since it really is a glorified cigarette lighter. While the risk might seem to be minor, I would rather be safe than sorry. I dont remember where I was now, but it was a place with highly flamable substances... in addition to no open flames... there was even a notice that cell phones should be shut off because of the risk of sparking when ringing. I thought this might be extreme... but I shut my phone off just the same.

Its really cool when they have a bunch of old customer tanks sitting around and you can smell the leaking gas it adds to the exitement In this case I passed on the heat and when with time instead ;?)
