hello all, I know that this has probably been discussed in the past, but since I live deep in the country and high-speed internet means you run to your computer after the page has finished loading, doing an archive search is rediculously slow. Could you enlighten me on what a single tech can earn, and what, and how you pay your employees(not cash, check or peanuts, but hourly, commision, or per job). To eliminate potential irs conflicts I put the revenues in a poll format.
From my perspective I pay my employees $20.00 per repair + $.25 per Km for travel. And for my franchisees I charge them a $ 100.00 flat fee monthly for using my company name, and marketing info ect, that way I don't have the hassle(neither do they) of going through thier books and calculating reveneus. I pay my sales guys on straight commission .. but most of my guys are sitting in a tent. My fleet guy gets paid straight commission at 50% of what he does minus nothing. When i had my Jiffy Lube locations up I paid my guys a salary of $1500 + commissions paid on an average per day for the week basis ... avg 5 per day for the week is $400 bonus that week .. avg 6 is $600 .. avg 7 is $800 so on and so forth.
The guys in the tents that I have get half of the take after a net 20% expense discount .. so essentially out of $50 we take $10 for expenses (usually rent and such) then we split the $40. |

How many employee's do you have?, What is your turn-over? Did I read right when you said $1500 + performance bonus, at those wages your employee's must stay with you for a long time. Merci |
