Now in business!!!!
I wants to thank you all for the great info. We officially started our windshield repair business yesterday!! It took a few months to get up and running and with all the great info on this board we are off to a GREAT start. Did 3 repairs yesterday, so far one today, and we have been followed and pulled over 7 times in the last week due to the grafics on our new trailer! Today we scored 2 car lots that want us to be on call and stop by atleast 1x per week, a large car detailer that has asked to leave brochers and posters in the lobby and for us to station ourselves there atleast 1x per week for their busy hours(10am to 2pm) and our good friend owns a large auto repair shop that wants us to be on call to pop down and take care of repairs. This and our ads dont start until next week! To all you new to windshield repair listen to what the senior members and those members that have been doing this and are great enough to let all of us looking to break into owning and operating a sucsessful business. ok now im going to stop gushing and get back to work!!!! I love to hear about new blood!! There is plenty out there for everyone so the more the merrier I say. One suggestion is on those accounts that want you on call ... I have had situations like that with many places and not one has given me a call more then once. The only way I have found to consistantly get chips is to visit those places once a day and see what cars are there, then call those people with chips and explain to them the program. That way you should be able to get a few chips a day off that method, but just waiting for a phone call I have found to be fruitless.

Thanks Brian we kinda figured that , so we let him know and he wants us to be at each lot 1x per wk but if he gets a car in that needs us ASAP he has the option to call us and we will be there for windshield repair within 2 hr PDR within 24 hrs due to Ricks Full time jig.
