I have a "money back guarantee", also. Additionally, I ask the customer to call me ASAP if they see any further cracking. I tell them that I will re-inspect the break and repair any further damage, if possible, with no charge. Or, refund their money.

Well thanks for all the feedback everyone, however I went ahead and paid for the replacement, reason being the individual involved is the owner of the auto shop I service my car at so if I expect him to refer me to other customers I needede to show him that I put the customer first at all times, in the long run I feel the return on the investment is worthwhile.

We Guarantee our Windshield Repairs, not to crack, spread for as long as you own your car and to pass all Federal, State and Local Vechicle Inspections.
We refund the repair what we sell as a service-All claims must be accopanied by your receipt of windshield replacement. So if we were told they needed a replacement, we tell them to mail us a copy of their receipt and we will send them a check for the repair that they said failed. Give them your mailing address and apologize and tell them there is a chance a repair may not hold, but we guarantee our repair work and we will send a check for the cost of the repair in the mail the day we get a copy of their receipt that they had to replace. So Sorry for that it didn't hold, thought it would otherwise would not of attempted to save them money by doing the repair. NEVER received a receipt to pay them in the mail yet. But we offered to pay to pay for our service if it did not work. If you fixed a refridgerator part, and the refridgerator broke you would not buy them a new refridgerator, you would refund them the part that broke again under warranty.
