Default Your happiest customer?

I had a guy with a porsche the other day that was so happy when I fixed his crack I couldn't believe it. It made me think... when in my life have I ever been THAT happy? Maybe I need a porsche.

I can picture you reclining in your lawn chair, legs up with a tequila sunrise dreaming of your porche. Then the phone rings. It's a customer with a beat up '99 Chevy PU covered with dirt asking you to fix a 6 mo. old 15" crack. Talk about bursting the bubble...

I've worked on Jaguars, Lexus, Infinity and recently, a Viper. Never a Porche. Needless to say I'm extra careful when working on these cars. The owner of the Viper didn't even want me to use a hood protector because it would scratch the hood surface (and it did). The hood was like a mirror. So far all customers are happy.

How's the RV?

Dale...

The RV is doing great. It made it across Mexico to the Pacific and back just last week.

I will be my own happiest customer if I can keep the W/S on that thing from ever cracking out! So far no chips and its 31 years old.

scratchy..I certainly hope that I have some customers like that some day to offset the customers that always want something for nothing or want to chew down your priceing or want to complain about that last 5% of the clairity that you can't restore after fixing their foot long crack.
