"so any time you see a chip tent or someone doing repair, check to see that they have the permits required in your locale. We're active in our town and we don't hesitate to contact the police to shut down the ones that don't. Remember, you are protecting your brand."

Every now and then there use to be a guy who would setup a tent on the side of the road in my local. He was basically squating, it was not legal. You better believe the other windshield repair businesses including myself call it in.
