Thanks sikandar that is what I would have tried but I only had 1 hour and I thought it would take longer. I was also worried about the branched cracks spreading really bad

The chip is pretty close to how I envisioned it. Actually to clarify my above post, I would fill from what I determined to be the original impact or where resin would flow best. If the hairline cracks don't fill all the way drill a whole at the point where all the legs intersect and pop a mini. Continue to fill and cure. An easy repair most the time it just requires an additional step.
