What would be a good way to tell if the market for windshield repair is good in my area. There is currently 2 mobile repairman in my town and and about 4 glass companies. The population is around 150,000 in my town.

Your market is empty of competition if that is all that is there. Move now with your business before that changes. If 1 in 6 cars a year needs repair then that would give you 1500 each. Be the best and get and kick out the rest.

Well, the best way I know of is to set up an E-Z up awning somewhere and see what happens, if you can find a place to do that, it seems to let people know you are there anyway.
