Gosh, Screenman has my vote. Just look at his unreal numbers! Over 33,000windshields repaired and over a million dollars from windshield repair! If he isn't the man of the person of the year, then perhaps there he should be an inductee into the WSR Hall of Fame!

Splitpit, that only equals about 7 a day there are plenty of guys on here doing many more. Mind you I am slowing down and spending a bit more time trainig people so that number may not keep growing quite as fast as it used to.

My best day ever £875 was about 5 years ago and I cetainly do not expect to repeat it, also I would not like to see what some of those repairs I did that day look like now.

Have to honest here. I know more than a few individuals that have provided over 100,000 repairs in their 12 year career and sold close to 2 million in repairs. Screenmans stats aren't unreal for 18 years in this biz @ 33,000. They are very real for a person of his stature and commitment to the repair industry.

The person I would vote in for "Windshield Person Of The Year" has never even been on this forum! Why? Because he's just to busy everyday repairing!

That's a very valid point StarQuest. A technician certainly doesn't have to post on this forum to receive the windshield repair person of the year award, so if you have someone in mind, please let us know who that is and why he or she deserves it.

"Greetings"everyone….. My name is Vince Van Zandt, {ChipperFixer} …..I'm from Giddings Tx….a neighbor to some of you…I've been in the WCR business since 1985…started out with Glas-Weld Systems and still use the system. But I was looking in my toolbox the other day and discovered that over half the products had "Delta"wrote on eum (Oh yea I spell like a TEXAN. You should say onum). Now I'm finding myself searching Ebay for a full blown Delta Kit. I've been reading this fourm for many years and have learned lots from you Guys. But one thing that I have learned for sure is that you can save a lot of money by switching to Geico!!……ha ha. Learned that joke from "Coitster". And I learned from Screenman what a Screen was "that one had me stumped for a long time". Well anyway I've introduced myself now and I am looking forward to sharing my "tricks of the trade" and what little knowledge I've acquired through the years……and alwavs remember, never and I mean never sell a Repair to a stranger, always make a friend first!!!! ............P.S. I nominate Screenman for the WRPY because he's just plan "Good"
Get er done.

Maybe a newbie should get it, I trained a guy last year from a town very near me. He had it hard at first and he persevered and spread the word he is now gaining respect and customers and earning a good living. Best of luck to Stuart Walker.
