That is fantastic and many thanks to all involved. What a great way to wake me up on a very cold wet UK Sunday. My enthusiasm for windshield repair is as great now as what it was 20 years ago. The desire to help others enjoy the trade is something most of us who post on here share and long may that be. We all are fighting the same battles, low quality, low prices, insurance companies stopping waiving excess and the lowering of windshield prices. Having said all that its still a great way of earning a good living. Now lets all get out there tomorrow and do an extra repair.

My congratulations Screenman! Quite sometime back when we were asked to submit nominations for the honor, I joined others in naming you. It is obvious that so many others feel the same way. Indeed your contributions in here have earned the respect of your peers in this profession.

Anyone who is so dominating that resin manufacturers are afraid to send them samples in fear that they they might not get a favorable review, HAS TO BE an industry leader!

Congrats Screenman on your award! However if there is a runner up award I would have to say that Yvan Lacroix should get honorable mention. That guy is really putting windshield repair on the map up in Quebec.Heck the guy has even sold and supported franchises in Morrocco this past year.He has also successfully lobbied his provincial gov't to revise repair standards for the industry. He has numerous franchisees under him in Quebec and is starting to penetrate my province (ontario).I am sure it is just a matter of time before his w/r franchise machine reaches my end of the province.Just check his website and see what I mean.I have not met him but have talked to him on the phone numerous times.

Congrats, likewise. This means that you now have to tour the USA and "spread the word". Lets call it a lecture series (for pay of course).
