It's a good subject though...what related services are others offering? I happen to do interior repairs about as much as windshield repairs. Mostly car lot type work. Have also done graphic decals in the past.

There is a good business here for interior repair, I wish I knew how to do it and do it well.

I have also done the graphic decals and vehicle, sign lettering. Roland Gxs; I know hem like the back of my hand! However it is easy to get in the weeds with all that weeding..lol

I did make a small fortune on ebay with graphic stickers, hell we made $1 on every envelope before the graphic was ever cut! some days I carried 65-70 envelopes to the post office. But like everything else more people started selling stickers at like 20 cent over their cost and all these buy one get ones and free shipping? Nope, had to move on.

Whats next, Maybe I will sell life insurance?! why not.

Only gripe I have is the fact that most of us have to offer some type of add on service to survive! why! because simple minded people have lowered the price to the point that almost no one can make a solid living on just windshield repair.

My opinion we all need to wake up! this is a specialized profession that needs to be taken more serious. Saving windshields is a serious business and should be thought of as such, not the 'learn to do it in 24 hrs and make millions' that some windshield repair suppliers preach.

Some dentists charge well over $100 to 'patch' that is to fill a tooth and then don't even guarantee any type of longevity. what is the alternative to a filling? a cap for upwards to $700-1000. only differance in what we do is we do not believe in the service we are providing. If we did, we would not be charging 15 or 20 or 30 dollars for it.
