My true feeling on this matter is....."ant it great to live in AMERICA" after all said and done, we can charge what we wont, produce quantity or quality or both, work from a tent or walk and talk, how ever you want to do it. This is why I've chosen "WINDSHIELD CHIP REPAIR". I love it .....I Love The Life I Live and I Live The Life I Love........at the same time WORKING TOGETHER INSURES ACHIEVEMENT.......I think the tent guy needs to kick his Price up to $50, $25 and $10....and use lead to hold his tent down..

How much does it cost to live well over there, we seem to be getting nearly twice as much as you guys for repairs. We charge £40+£10+£10 That is pounds not dollars. How much is a house my 5 bed over here is about £300,000 Meal out £25 per person with booze. Petrol only £4.70 a gallon. Car insurance £295. Please give me some clues. I might decide to join you all one day, only for a holiday though. Now I am sure this post will not upset anyone.

Screenman, I can't find that little backwards 3 thing on my puter....so I can't tell you...But something else happening is the Immigrants comming in from Mexico.They are charging $5 and $10 a pop......This may be an up coming problem in the future. Screenman, £295 for Car Insurance, that's $600 at today's INSANE exchange rate.
I'm guessing that is for a year's coverage.
What type of car do you drive?

Over here we pay a small fortune for Car Insurance, It's why we have so many uninsured motorist's, of course a great part of our Car Insurance costs are for medical coverage, Do you pay for medical insurance in your premiums or does the NHS pick up those costs.

People complain about Taxes, but look at all the Insurance we pay.

I Love your £40, £10, £10 charges that's a good living.

Who cares if someone new moved in and put up a tent? who cares that he charges a price different from yours? What makes him deserving of your personal attacks and name calling? Seems to me that the one acting like a child is you! You just can't stand it when someone has an opinion that differs from your own. The guy doing the tent business in my area is giving this industry a bad name through low quality repairs at a cheap rate. I have plenty of other competitors in my area who do quality work and I don't mind that at all. We even meet for coffee every now and then and discuss business.

If I responded to you in a way I would like to I would surely be banned. I didn't deserve your attack this time and I hope Brent sees that.

Well, here's my opinion!

When a little mosquito bites you, the worst thing you can do is continue to scratch it! If you do that, one little bite becomes something that gets bigger and aggravates you constantly.

You were wondering about the cost of living here in the US compared to the UK.
My brother is visiting N. Ireland right now and he says everything over there is much more expensive over there than here in California.
Also you guys have to pay VAT ( value added tax of 17.5%)
Here we pay about 7% sales tax.
The dollar may not be worth anything in Europe, but at least here we can still buy stuff cheaper than in Europe.
Property is expensive in California, but cheaper in places like Kansas.
