Default round tube-shaped curing lamps

Got a question for some of you that have been using the round dual tube-shaped curing lamp, such as Delta's 40-14 12 volt. I want to know if the round bulb protector/casing is clear only on the suction cup side or is it clear all the way around. The reason I ask is that I had one like that a long time ago (not dual tube but same tube-like shape), and kept getting fingerprints on it which cured and fogged it up. I do tend to be a little sloppy, but maybe that is the downside of getting the round ones? Even if it's not clear all the way around, the round shape just begs to be grabbed and I'm afraid I'll end up getting it gunked up right where it's needed the most. Or maybe I should start wearing gloves more. What do you all think?

Still using the 40-14 12 volt and it has never broke, even after hitting the ground many times. The clear casing is there for UV protection from your eyes and to protect the bulbs from damage. I didn't like the 25ft cord it included so I shortened it to 10 ft. As far as your finger prints on casing. Many resins will eat into the plastic unless you keep things clean. If your not wearing protective gloves currently while repairing I highly suggest doing so in the future. Do you really want to absorb these chemicals into your body daily? I don't! Seen to many old timmers in this biz die of cancer at a early age from high exposure to chemicals.
