Training for Delta is in FL in Jan and in Eugene, OR in Feb. Check out places like expedia.com... I got a very affordable flight and hotel to fly out there. $397 for the flight and 52 for the hotel. The training is free in Eugene!!!

My training is not backed DK but I feel certainly as comprehensive in there approved techniques minus the certificate. Maybe even more so since it could be more real world if you wanted as you could run our route with us to truely get your feet wet.

I certainly reccomend factory training if possible (The gang at Dk is great) and do not forget it would be a tax write off. If not take a little drive to PA and we can provide you with a solid foundation to get off on the right foot.

No problem sharing private information via the private message system. Hope you guys can get together as I think Brian has a great deal of knowledge and expertise to share.

We had a training class today with 19 or 20 people. Everyone did great except Chips-B-Gone, what a putz! Just kidding Joe. It was quite obvious that you were already doing good repairs, and it was very nice to finally meet you.

About 45 minutes before the class started 20 windshields (actually they were just squares of laminated glass) slipped off the cart and most of them got pretty busted up. I dashed back to the warehouse and managed to get back to the conference room just in time to start the class, but was so out of breath I could hardly talk. Man am I out of shape! If that weren't bad enough Matt threw out his back and could barely bend over, Wade was just getting over the flu, and I was all doped up on meds for a sinus infection. I'm sure we made a big first impression.

We changed up the format a bit to include more repairs, and more difficult repairs, so it got a bit hectic at times, but we couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to work with! I was very impressed with all who intended.

With all that damaged laminate, did you get to repair some cracks?

Who LET them slip off the cart...Hmmmm...Not to mention any names...Brent.

Brent was panting pretty had on the second trip...Not out of shape (well maybe) but old age.... just kidding.I had a great time and learned a few more things. I wish I would have come out along time ago! Anyone thinking about it...stop thinking and just GET A PLANE TICKET AND GO! Well worth it.

I am already looking for reservations out to NWRA Conference in Nov.

So far I already have a ticket for an overbooked flight on the way home that the airline gave me for my trouble. I looked on expedia and 4 days,3 nights w/car and airfare for my wife is less that $500... Looks very promising that she will be coming with me! Time to get into gear and make some money!
