Default Favorite Supplier and why

For Windshield Techs...I know this has been covered on different threads, maybe though most are a couple years old. But the question is: Who is your favorite windshield repair supplier and reasons why? This includes resins, equipment, prices, customer service, etc. No need for fighting, just interested to see why some are gung-ho for their particular brand. Maybe I'll get to hear some stuff didn't know about

This may be a bit biased but in the UK I am the best supplier, over there definately Delta and yes I have tried many many others. Delta puts out high quality tools backed up with quality resins and superb customer service. I honestly feel there is no better.

Screenman, when you say supplier what exactly does that mean? Do you resale products under a different name from Delta?

Yes I do resell and it would not be fair to advertise my name up here, some of the products I sell are Delta and this is something I wish to increase and some are items I source from elsewhere. I also supply PDR products, my main interest lies in the training we sell as I am convinced the quality of training in the UK must surely be the lowest anywhere. You only have to look on fleabay to see how many kits there are for sale, many saying earn £50 in half hour. Would these guys be selling them if they really new how to use them.

No I do not have a website, must get that sorted this year. In fact I must start working harder and stop playing at this job. In fact that shall be my New Years resolution. Last year was spent building a new house and 2008 will be spent building a new business. Mind you I will still have to carry on making work fun.

Back to the original question:

If you have been around here for any length of time, most know I exclusively use Delta Kits tooling and supplies.

Why?
Becuase they pay me!!! Relax, just kidding, but if Brent wants to put me on his payroll on some sort east coast capacity, I am open for discussion.

Well, when I first started out I did not have a clue who or what was good and had to make the best educated decision I could. Being a research aholic(just try to get the resin specification sheets for the brand resin you use and these are not the same as the MSDS sheets so you can honestly compare the physical properties of your resin to another, good luck unless you ask DK) if they wont supply you with it, ask yourself why? Don't you have a right to know your resins performance specs. Sure paper does not tell the whole story but that is one of the sources led me to choose DK. 6 years later and plenty of real world results to confirm my educated decision, IMHO they are the best. My personal dealings with DK have been hassle free and they stand behind there products 100%.

I am sure others will feel stronly and say the same about there brand, so just educate yourself and choose wisely.

Does'nt anyone else in windshield repair land have a favorite brand? There has to be some techs who use GM, GT, LR, GW etc...and could share there experience with that brand out here.

Brian you said what I was thinking. I'd like to hear from the other brands without thinking they're gonna get jumped on just cuz they don't use Delta. I started out with Delta long long time ago but since have used other brands for all kinds of reasons at the time. So don't have a clear cut personal favorite presently, other than have always been treated very well by Delta and have been using Nano's resin last 4 months with very good results.
